The Platform for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of the Alcazaba complaint further delays to the works of Carmen Pereira
The Platform wants to report further delays in the rehabilitation work of the Alcazaba de Badajoz. On June 15 the Government Delegate to the press announced the tender for the project by the Ministry of Housing, will take place in short de tiempo y, siempre, antes del 1 de agosto del presente año. La Plataforma quiere mostrar su hartazgo ante los continuos retrasos que se producen siempre que hay por medio obras relacionadas con la Alcazaba de Badajoz o cualquier parte del Patrimonio de la Ciudad.
Así mismo, la Plataforma quiere reiterar que el proyecto que tiene intención de licitar el Ministerio de Vivienda no forma parte del proyecto integral y que dicho proyecto, como así especifica el convenio firmado entre las tres administraciones, no es vinculante con el integral. Se trata de un proyecto anterior, redactado en 2006 por la Junta de Extremadura (DOE nº 99 del 24/08/06), que ni se puede "Sell" as first phase of Integral and even less, can be carried out with some of the funds pledged in the agreement (12 million €).
The Platform calls, once again, that the authorities comply with the signed and presented no excuses once and the whole project will restore the Fortress of Badajoz, but, of course, this independent project, which is already written and just need to allot their work is carried out by the administration that commissioned and that does not mean that the integrated project is subject to it and declined in their budgets.
Given the recent declarations of the administrations, the Platform wants to point out that when an agreement was signed on 7 May 2006, there was no "crisis", as if it had been carried out on time established normal now we find with the Integral Rehabilitation in progress.
Therefore, the Platform for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of the Citadel reports that will continue and increase industrial action until the government meets the signature.
